Status of ACPR during COVIC-19 Pandemic Closure of Inside Facilities

Our present information from Harford County Parks and Recreation Officials is that our Gymnastics building will remain closed for indoor classes and team practices throughout the month of June, with a chance for re-opening by Monday, July 6th

Although the ACPR Gymnastics indoor gyms remain temporarily closed due to the Pandemic, we are actively continuing Daily Zoom fitness training for all of our teams, along with numerous at-home virtual “Challenges” and fun gymnastics activities while we prepare for a safe, well-planned re-opening! Also, ACPR recreation gymnasts are receiving weekly updates and activity sheets with lots of fun gymnastics things to do!  We are also offering our teams some outdoor training opportunities at the Churchville Recreation Complex.

Throughout this time, ACPR Staff are carefully preparing to re-open the gym in a safe, several step process.  The most important thing we can do is to keep our gymnasts and their families safe throughout the reopening process!

Through numerous Webinars and virtual meetings and other interactions we have carefully studied and will be following reopening procedures and protocols produced by the Maryland Gymnastics community, many leading gyms in the United States and the USA Gymnastics National office.   We will also be following all Harford County Parks and Recreation guidelines for a safe re-opening of our indoor facilities.

Details of our step-by-step reopening will be posted soon!   I will continue to update this site as new information becomes available!  All of the coaches at ACPR miss all of our great gymnasts and can’t wait to get back into the gym to work with together with them on the sport we all love!
